My latest adventure learning Enduro which is now available to watch on my YouTube Channel. If you’d like to check them out the links are below.
I like to use my downtime for learning new skills (always good to add to the C.V.), and in the process hopefully convince my son that his dad has a bit of coolness left in him, lol.
I’ve got a loooooong way to go, but I’m enjoying myself which is the most important thing.
It’s been a long time since my last Enduro session with Ian Pead (links to earlier videos can be found below). This time though was very different to the other lessons. We traveled to Wales to the Wern Ddu Quarry which has a special place in the hearts of off road riders. This excellent place caters for a wide variety of skill levels, and the staff are friendly and professional.
I began the weekend of riding feeling very rusty, but by the end I felt I had improved and built on my core skills. At the time I was carrying a hip injury, so I’m eager to get back there and see how I do when I’m back to normal health. Basically two days after this weekend of riding it was decided that I really needed to get treatment on my hip. I went to see the excellent Stephen Makinde at The Oak Practice. What I thought was a pulled TFL turned out to be Tendinitis which in turn caused mild Bursitis, brought on by me initially injuring myself. As I type this, I’m currently still receiving treatment, but I’m on the road to recovery, and should be back to 100% very soon.
Big thank you to Ian Pead, for a fantastic experience, and for being a superstar getting me and the bike out of the sh*t all those times.
Thank you for watching.
